order to have the business progress smoothly. The HVAC systems are both voluminous and bulky and come with a number of moving parts. When the installed systems are running you can hear the noise that the equipment makes. The vibration isolator design: The government regulations require that the HVAC equipment is placed on top of the building. Hanger arrangement: In many installations, it becomes necessary to suspend the HVAC equipment and ducting from the ceiling but above the false ceiling. consist of rectangular metallic sheet housing with elastomer elements and a spring with a cap. The vibration isolator spring housing is suspended from the ceiling by using a wire or rod. The metal to metal contact is avoided through a rubber washer. The ducting or equipment is suspended from a stud that passes through the hole in the spring isolator bracket, the bonded elastomer element and the spring. The stud is tightened with a nut on top of the spring cap.
Work concept of the isolator: The spring gets compressed under the weight of the HVAC equipment, while the elastomer element ensures that the vibrations do not pass on to the metallic suspension and the support structure. In the case of shock or excessive vibrations the vibration isolation spring is assisted by the deflection characteristics of the elastomer element. The spring vibration isolators HVAC are available as single and double deflection types to suit the desired customer requirements. Some vibration isolators are supplied with the springs in the pre-compressed condition from the factory itself. A scale is provided on the inside of the rectangular sheet metal bracket on which the deflection reading can be easily read.
Flexible arrangement: The hole at the bottom of the vibration isolator spring bracket is quite large and allows for a 30-degree arc variation. This allowance takes care of the construction errors which at times can cause problems in the installation process.
