All rubber mounts are designed to support and work under the specified load range and any kind of overloading results in loss of isolation property as well as shelf life of rubber mount. Factor which governs any isolation methodology depends on the application in which it needs to be installed. If rubber mounts need to cater the requirement in corrosive environment, it needs to be designed and equipped with special materials or in case of acoustic environment which requires optimum level of noise reduction then, properties of rubber isolators need to be taken in to considerations.
